Shipping Policy

At Riding Options, we use a variety of trusted postal and courier services to deliver your orders domestically and internationally. We partner with Royal Mail, DPD, and UPS, and depending on your location, the size, and weight of your order, we may use other courier services.

Order Tracking

Our back-office systems are fully integrated with our shipping partners, allowing both you and us to track your parcel every step of the way, from our door to yours!

Shipping for Orders Below £150

Small items and orders valued under £150 (excluding helmets and tyres) are typically sent via Royal Mail. However, you have the option to upgrade the delivery service during checkout. We offer a variety of shipping services, including UPS, DPD, and Royal Mail, with daily collections from our warehouse.

Shipping for Orders Above £150

For orders over £150 or those containing heavy or bulky items, delivery is typically made via UPS or DPD, unless the delivery is outside the UK mainland.

Domestic Shipping (UK)

We offer Free UK Mainland Shipping on most orders. However, heavy items may incur additional charges for certain locations. The following areas may be subject to extra charges:

  • Northern Ireland
  • Scottish Highlands
  • Channel Islands
  • Isle of Man
  • Isle of Wight
  • Sicily Isles

If additional charges apply to your order, we will contact you before dispatch.

International Shipping

Shipping costs for international orders are generally estimated upfront. In some cases, there may be additional shipping costs depending on the weight, size, and destination of your order.

Important Points

  • The delivery service options available to you depend on the contents of your order and the delivery postcode.
  • Certain items, such as products using pressurized containers, may be excluded from our free delivery offer due to restrictions from Royal Mail.
  • Shipping costs are based on the total weight of the products and packaging.
  • Delivery timeframes are subject to product availability and stock levels.
  • Small items may be delivered by post.
  • For bike-specific products, payment may be taken at the time of ordering from our suppliers.
  • We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes on any of our services.

Parcel Protection and Care

  • Helmets are usually shipped in their original packaging. However, to adjust for weight, the box may be replaced with a strong brown cardboard box.
  • All items are manually checked prior to dispatch.
  • We ensure that our products are sent out in brand new boxes. Please inspect your package carefully. If you notice any damage to the item or packaging, do not accept it. Once the parcel is signed for, it is deemed delivered in complete and undamaged condition. Riding Options cannot be held responsible for any damage discovered after signing for the delivery.

Taxes & Import Duties

  • International customers may be subject to import duties and taxes. Please check with your local customs office before purchasing any products. Payment of these duties and taxes is the responsibility of the buyer.
  • European customers may be required to pay VAT and customs clearance fees upon delivery.
